A great all round fly rod and reel combo, September 16, 2009 By The Saltwater Scientific Anglers fishing outfit has been a great all round fly rod. I use it on lakes and the saltwater flats. It is well built and performs great. I learned how to cast it within a week.

For the price of this complete fly rod and reel combo it's a good deal. This is a nice addtion to my fishing gear and my first fly combo dedicated to salt water. I picked this up for my trip to Hawaii in October. This 4pc set fits perfectly in my 29" suit case. I will leave more feed back on how well it works in the surf. Fish on!
